Exotic and classic car loan terms, as lenders publish them

This table records what each lender, lease company, auction house and manufacturer finance arm published on its own website on the date shown. It isn’t a ranking, and none of it is an offer. A blank cell means the lender didn’t publish that detail.

Read across a row to see one lender’s whole program, and down a column to compare them. The terms column matters most for long loans: Woodside advertises up to 15 years, J.J. Best stops at 84 months, and Mecum Financial lists up to 48. The last column tells you which sellers a lender will finance, which decides whether it’s even an option for a private sale or an auction car.

The clearest pattern is who publishes. Specialists like Woodside and J.J. Best put their terms, down payments and eligibility rules in writing. The manufacturer captives mostly don’t publish rates; you get those from the dealer. Bank of America is here for contrast: its auto loan excludes cars older than 10 years, cars with 125,000 miles or more, and business use.

LightStream’s loan is unsecured, so the car isn’t collateral. Its classic car page says there’s no appraisal and no age or mileage limit, and its general loan range is $5,000 to $100,000.

Use the table to shortlist, then get the current terms from the lender itself, since its own disclosure controls. Run a published example through the calculator, and read how specialty lenders differ from banks for the background on each type.

Where a lender publishes an APR it’s shown beside its terms. J.J. Best, Mecum, Porsche Financial Services and the lease companies publish terms or down payments without an APR, so ask each for its APR in writing before you compare.

As published by each lender on its own website, read on October 24, 2026; each name links to the page read. Terms change, and the lender's current disclosure controls. Blank means the lender does not publish it.
